I never imagined myself as a writer. After finishing high school, I took a year off, unsure of what to do next. During that time, I read the book ‘Fangirl’ by Rainbow Rowell, which sparked my interest in writing. I started with short stories in the romance genre and gradually began writing poems, despite them being a bit rough at first.
Over time, my love for storytelling grew. I read many eBooks, short stories, and novels, which inspired me to write more.
In 2021, I began publishing blogs on Medium, and that’s how my journey as a writer started.
Although I struggled with subjects like math and memorisation in school, I excelled in English. Eventually, my passion for writing led me to publish my first novella (The Virus In The Air). I’m excited to continue creating more stories and sharing them with others.
This is not something I thought of recently.
I am planning to share short stories here on this webpage. As I write blogs on Medium, I’ll write stories here and upload them to read for free. Some moral stories, and some entertaining/engaging short stories.
1984 by George Orwell is not just some kind of a story of a man named Winston Smith, living in a miserable society of Oceania. Trying to rebel against some party or its omnipresent symbol, Big Brother.
No! 1984 is more than just a dystopian novel; it’s a warning, a mirror, and in many ways, a prediction. It’s a reflection of what reality can become when truth is silenced and control replaces freedom. These terms used in the book aren’t just words but speak a whole story: Newspeak, Doublethink, Thoughtcrime.
So, if you would also like to contribute and write stories here, you are more than welcome; you’ll be added as a writer.

Personally, I’m still the same girl I was 4 years ago, it’s just that I’m more serious now about my work. I stride toward perfection in my work. And a humble kid in me with a camera inside the pocket.
