I never imagined myself as a writer. After finishing high school, I took a year off, unsure of what to do next. During that time, I read the book ‘Fangirl’ by Rainbow Rowell, which sparked my interest in writing. I started with short stories in the romance genre and gradually began writing poems, despite them being a bit rough at first.
Over time, my love for storytelling grew. I read many eBooks, short stories, and novels, which inspired me to write more.
In 2021, I began publishing blogs on Medium, and that’s how my journey as a writer started.
Although I struggled with mathematics and had no brain cells for memorisation in school, I excelled in English, and I was also good at spelling any English word. It felt so good that even my smart elder brother would come to me and ask me the spelling of a word. This was not enough, but it was enough to feed my passion.
Eventually, my passion for writing led me to publish my first novella (The Virus In The Air). I’m excited to continue creating more stories and sharing them with others.
Personally, I’m still the same girl I was 4 years ago, it’s just that I’m more serious now about my work. I strive toward perfection in my work. And I imagine a humble kid in me with a camera inside the pocket, looking for a good story to capture.

Upcoming novel I’m working on
I’m currently working on a historical fiction story set in India, inspired by deep-rooted traditions, unspoken truths, and the emotional weight of love, jealousy, and silent resistance. The narrative weaves together personal journeys of characters with cultural beliefs, exploring how lives are shaped by both the visible and the unseen. This story will explore themes of dignity, power, and the quiet ways in which people try to reclaim their freedom.
Another novel, close to my heart — a story of healing that is not always soft
This upcoming story is a quiet, raw exploration of a young woman’s emotional transformation during years of isolation at home. Drawing from deep personal moments, it follows her shift from darkness toward light—though not without a cost. As healing takes root, relationships begin to shift, and distance becomes a form of survival. It’s a reflective, deeply human story about pain, growth, and the complexity of love when healing changes everything.
